I WANT YOUR SERVICES….HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Call 416 996 7902 or send an email to jobranovic@compassmhs.org. Leave a detailed message with your name and number. You will receive a return call within 48 hours and a brief free assessment. A home/community visit will be scheduled where a service agreement will be created.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT SERVICES FOR A FAMILY MEMBER OR A LOVED ONE?

If services are for a family member or a loved one, they must be in agreement to receive services. Ideally they would be present and involved with creating the service agreement. However, if the family member or loved one is not in agreement with receiving services at that time , a consultation would occur and direct services could still be started at a later time with the consent of family or loved one.

WOULD COMPASS BE ABLE TO VISIT AT A HOSPITAL, WORK OR COURT?

Yes. Support services, advocacy and communication with other health providers would be completely appropriate and very valuable. Communication with other health providers and other professional services are advantageous in improving mental health and recovery

CAN COMPASS DRIVE CLIENT’S TO APPOINTMENTS OR OTHER COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES?

Yes if it’s part of the service agreement and the destinations are on a consistent times and days. Driving would be difficult spontaneously due to commitments to other clients.

HOW MUCH DO COMPASS SERVICES COST? CAN I USE MY INSURANCE? IS IT A TAX DEDUCTION?

Initial phone contact is free. Direct services including initial assessment, creation of service agreements and consultations are billed at $99 per hour. Most insurance companies cover only certified psychologist but you can check to see if it’s covered by your insurance company. Compass services are a tax deduction under medical expenses.
